0. Language
This English version is the operative version of these Terms. The Korean translation at /privacy and /terms (ko) is provided for convenience; in case of conflict, the English version governs.
1. About this beta
Lumiere Dish is currently in beta. The service is operated personally by Goonho Park while business entity registration is deferred. Features and terms may change without notice. By using Lumière, you agree that you are joining a beta experience, not a final product.
2. Lumi is virtual (beta)
In the beta, 1 Lumi = $0.25 is a virtual unit only. No real payments, settlements, tips, or refunds occur. Creator payouts, purchase bundles, and related commerce flows are simulated for product validation and will not result in money movement. When the service launches in Live mode, virtual balances may be converted under separate terms announced at that time.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of recipes, photos, and stories you publish. You grant Lumière a non-exclusive license to display your content within the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share the content — family recipes are welcome; copied editorial content is not.
4. Community conduct
Food is personal. Be respectful of cultural origins and family lineages. We remove content that is unsafe (e.g., undeclared allergens posing risk), exploitative, or that misattributes another creator’s work. Use the Report control on any post to notify us. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior: once aware of a violation (including through your report), we review and remove objectionable content and/or eject the offending user within 24 hours, and repeat or egregious violators may be permanently banned without notice.
5. Age
Lumière is for users aged 13 and over. By signing in, you confirm you meet this age threshold. If you are younger, please do not create an account.
6. Operating notice
Operator: Goonho Park · Contact: lumiere-dish-support@googlegroups.com · Business registration: deferred (to be registered when the service crosses MAU 1,000+, LPP 50+, or 6 months from launch, per internal policy OPEN-001). Until then, Lumière operates as a personal beta under the operator’s name.
7. Purchases, Lumi, and Refunds
Beta status. Lumière is currently in a free beta. During the beta, no real payments, settlements, tips, or refunds occur. The Lumi shown in the app is a virtual rewards balance used to validate features. Lumi is a rewards balance — not money, currency, or a stored-value instrument — and it has no cash value.
Lumi is a reward. You may receive Lumi (for example, a welcome grant when you sign up) and use it in the app to unlock certain recipe steps. Lumi cannot be exchanged for cash and is not redeemable for money.
Unlock reversal (when paid features are available). When paid features become available in a future release, unlocking a recipe's steps spends Lumi. If you have not yet viewed the unlocked steps, you may reverse the unlock within 7 days, and we will restore that Lumi to your balance. This restores your Lumi balance; it is not a cash refund.
Bundle purchases (when available). If and when Lumi bundles can be purchased with money in a future release, refunds of a money purchase will be governed by the purchase terms shown at checkout and by applicable law — including any statutory right of withdrawal that applies to you. We will publish those terms before enabling purchases.
Changes to this section. We will update this section before enabling any of the money features described above.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be surfaced inside the app before they take effect. Continued use after the change means you accept the updated terms.
